Usually when a little girl yells "I want one daddy" they are not 6 years old and pointing at a front-engine dragster. For as far back as Danielle and her dad can remember that is exactly what she has only wanted. Like many of us, Danielle was first introduced to drag racing at a very young age. While many of us beat the addiction and walk away at some point, she never did.  Her dream and goal has always been to drive a front engine dragster and she finally fulfilled them this year. After spending 2 years as a NHRA trophy girl and working for Skoal Racing she decided this was the time to do it.She attended Frank Hawley's Drag Racing School and then with a lot of help from her father and the fine folks at the Atlanta Speed Shop she hit the track this fall.

Not only is she beautiful, the 25 year old from Savannah Ga, she proved to be quite personable and very down to earth.

The "slingshot" is powered by a blown-big block Chevy on Nitro

I was witness to Danielle's 6 and 7 runs in the recently completed car. She ran in the mid-4 second range in the 1/8 mile

Danielle visited us in the tower at the Carolina ORSCA event and made Kenny's day by sporting an ORSCA sweatshirt and posing with him for this final photo.
